Today I started joking that I’ll submit a WordCamp talk proposal called “RAMP, the fun never ends!” and it will be mostly me sputtering incoherently in rage and gesturing obscenely. I am sure it’ll be a hit, even if no one wants to use RAMP anymore because XML-RPC is so 2010. Developers always enjoy watching other developers in an apoplectic rage.
I’ve just finished my second week of vacation so far this year. For me, this is a record – I don’t take much vacation time, usually, but it seems to now be necessary to manage the stress of my job.
Video of the WordPress continuous deployment talk I gave at WordCamp Raleigh in October, 2015. I discuss how we built our infrastructure around Bamboo, Git, Composer, and RAMP.
